Happy First Day of December!
Every year I feel like I just blink an eye and the year is over. And every year you hear me say "how come it's already December?!". This year is no exception. I guess one has to keep the tradition going, uh?

To kick off this month of celebrations, I had the pleasure to be invited to The Worthington Renaissance Hotel's annual Christmas Luncheon. Last year I wasn't able to make it due to me being sick, but I was very happy to make up for it this year. The venue was beautifully set (as are all Renaissance Hotel venues), with snow-flakes projecting on the walls. Christmas trees were tastefully spread around, and so were the food bars. Santa and his help were also of the party (because what's a Christmas celebration without Santa??). If you'd like a 360 view of the hall, make sure to check out my moment on Instagram! Needless to say everything was beautifully set up, and the food was as good as it looked.

The dessert bar was my favorite! We were served some twist on the carrot cake - which was a delicious carrot cake mousse with white chocolate pearls, as well as a mini sweet potato pie and of course a delicious dark chocolate pie. Of course I couldn't just pick one... so they all had to end up on my plate ;) In terms of hot beverages, there was a drip coffee (pictured below), regular coffee, and an espresso station with eggnog ice cream. Tea was also offered.

Well, what would be a Christmas party without a photo with Santa and Rudolf?
