I can’t really remember what prompted this purchase, but here I am, 2 LB of Besan at hand many months later. Besan is a flour made from ground chickpeas. Being naturally curious when it comes to food, I did some research on this flour and explored some recipes online (hello, Pinterest!). I must admit I was quite surprised by how versatile this flour can be! In fact, you can use it for cooking sweet or savory items such as halwa, crackers, omelette, loaves and so on. Below are some recipes I am looking forward to trying soon and sharing with you.
1. Besan Cheela 2. Dukkah Sprinkled Chickpea Crackers 3. Lentil Loaf 4. Gatta Curry
5. Chickpea Flour Quiche 6. Mysore Pak 7. Homemade Chickpea Flour Pasta 8. Blueberry Not Cornbread 9. Savory Chickpea Pancakes

Don’t they all look delicious?
Any new (unusual) foods you’ve tried lately?
