There are times when you are just not up to spending much time in the kitchen, but you still dream of a consistent and delicious meal. During such times, I like to jump on the wrap wagon. You know tortilla wraps? Or lettuce wraps? However that’s not always the case. Sometimes all a gal just needs is a hot, heart-warming and delicious bowl of soup. Without the side of fuss needed, please.
And who says better soup than a good ole bowl of Ramen? To be clear, I am not talking about your everyday, freshman year, kind of ramen. I am talking about Ramen au Boudin. Two of my favorite words in the world perfectly married in this restaurant-worthy dinner.
This recipe calls for 3 key ingredients and takes only 15 minutes to make. Perfect for those nights when all you want to do is curl up on your couch and binge on Netflix/Amazon Prime. Or when you are so busy that the idea of cooking makes you cringe. Or when you need a quick lunch fix to take to work.



Cooking time: 15 min


1 tsp of vegetable stock (I use this one)

2 packs of organic ramen noodles (I like these)

2 Boudin sausages*

salt, pepper to taste

red pepper flakes (optional, and to taste)

green onions (optional)



001: In a medium pot, cook the Boudin in water (until water boils).

002: Remove the Boudins and with a knife, slice it in bite-size pieces. Place back into the boiling water. Season with salt and peppers to taste.

003: Mix in the vegetable stock.

004: Add your ramen noodles.

005: Cook until the ramen are done.

006: Garnish with green onions and serve hot!


*I get my Boudin from Central Market. But you can get yours at your local meat market or grocery store.
