Today it's pretty gloomy outside. The temperature is not bad, but the grey skies are not very inviting for outdoor activities. Luckily, this weather offers a great excuse to linger around the house in pyjamas and indulge in hot beverages while binge watching movies/TV shows. I am really enjoying being lazy today. Nowhere to rush to, and nothing pressing to do. It's just me and myself. And that is perfectly fine too.

Some goals I have for the rest of the day include working on a recipe index page for the blog and updating the archives section. In between, read a good book.

How are you spending your Sunday?

In the spirit of the Holidays and with the upcoming parties that we might be hosting (or attending), it is nice to offer guests a nice festive cocktail (or two). Elizabeth put together a lovely Peppermint White Chocolate Cocktail which looks festive and a promise of a real treat. Definitely worth to try!

I love seeing fellow bloggers photography recommendations/tips. The ladies at A Beautiful Mess put together a nice list of their favorite photography gear and if you are like me - always curious about how others take their beautiful shots, check their post out.

Checked out some books recommendations from Nouvelle Daily and I want to read them all. Now if only i could get them all as a Christmas present, I think it would be wonderful!

I am sure everyone has at one point or another felt either overwhelmed or anxious about hosting a holiday party. What if the food is not enough? What if people get bored? How about the drinks? Should you serve it in a bottles or have one common punch? And the dress-code? We have all been there, and Kate addresses them all in her guide to a hosting a successful fancy holiday party.

Because best things are saved for last - or so they say, here is a tasty looking Banoffee Pie (aka Banana Toffee Pie)! Head over to Design* Sponge to snag the recipe courtesy of The Fat Radish Kitch Diaries.
