Well there goes the first week of December!
This week I started on my new job and had trainings to attend and deal with orders and lab organization. Graduate school assignments have also been looming around, making this week a very busy one. The upcoming week will be quite challenging too, as I will be taking my end of the semester finals and performing work related duties. Although frightening, all of the tasks at hand are quite exciting. I love my job and I love being a graduate student. I am happy to be able to reconcile them both and living this new wonderful life. All of the good things that have been coming my way since May, make me appreciate 2014 and feel a little bit sad to see it come to an end so soon. But at the same time I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for me!

That said, and because we are still in December, I thought I'd share with you some festive/interesting links to brighten up your day!

Winter Holiday Season rhymes well will gingerbread cookies, pecan pie, hot cocoa, s'mores and eggnog. Amanda and Elisabeth tried LUSH's vegan eggnog recipe and testify that it tastes as good as the original egg-recipe. One more thing to add to the list of what to make in your kitchen this winter!

I love snow pictures, and being able to gaze into the winter beauty as captured by others, just makes me happy. The Internet has done so much for us! With one click we can be anywhere we want, without leaving our living-room. That said, check out Simone Anne's beautiful shots from her snow days in Switzerland

Oh the wanderlust tag! It is one of my favorite tags of all time. I love to read what people have been up to travel wise, and this is definitely a great way to do so! Check out Tea's answers, or if you want to get more personal with me, pop over here to read my own Wanderlust tag.

Well curated mood-boards are another favorite things of mine. I don't think I am very good at crafting such pretty mood-boards, but I do enjoy others hard work. Look at Sarah's holiday season's board and tell me you are not feeling festive already?
Finally, to round things up this week, I invite you to head over to Corina's blog to snatch up this lovely December wallpaper. She always does an amazing job with her wallpapers. Needless to say, I am a huge fan.
