When Jessica offered to bring me some of her beautiful cookies to try out, an idea sparked in me. I thought: why not do a cookie exchange? I instantly thought of my friend Victoria, who is also a great baker and sweets addict and soon we had a small group of three to participate in our first cookie exchange.

The idea was simple: everyone bakes one dozen of the cookies of their choice, writes down the recipe for each recipient and packages it (6/7 cookies per person); this way everyone gets a dozen total of cookies to try and a recipe to keep for future use. I must say we were all pretty excited by this exchange and more so, when we tried each cookie! Jessica and Victoria did a wonderful job.

Counter clockwise: Chocolate Ginger Frosted cookies (mine), Mint Chocolate cookies (Jessica), Sugar cookies (Jessica), Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies (Victoria)
Maybe next time we can try to have the exchange on a weekend, so as to actually make a party out of it! I think it would be a great way to relax.  I litteraly was in a cookie coma all day, which made Monday so much better!

So that's what happened around these premises. How was your Monday? Tell me all about it in the comments!
