I don't know about you, but the holiday season tends to put me in a very crafty mood, especially when it comes to yarn. It is thus normal that I associate winter holidays to yarn season. Proof: I recently started working on an afghan to cozy up in this winter. I don't really have a model for this afghan as I am just building up on a classic granny square, alternating the colors in a non-methodical way. I already have a couple of projects in mind for my apartment, among which are slippers and baskets for the bathroom shelving unit I purchased not so long ago.  For this afghan I am using Caron Simply Soft medium (4) yarn in white and sunshine colors. Crocheting while watching my new addiction in TV shows, The Honourable Woman, is a great way to spend a gloomy day indoors.

What do you associate holiday season with?
Any projects you are currently working on?
