I wanted to be playful for this second installment of the 52week photography project. Unfortunately, I accidentally washed my camera remote and will have to order a new remote soon. It was a bit tricky pausing and trying to capture myself. The above shot was pretty much the only picture I liked enough to share with you. Hopefully next week will be better.

Also, Roxy gave me the idea of sharing my camera settings in case anyone would like to practice too. I think it is a great way to document what works and what doesn't. So from now on, I will accompany my self-portraits with my camera settings. I also processed the photograph in Lightroom and used VSCO presets to get this Black&White effect ;) Before you go, please take a minute to look at Roxy's first week. I think she did a wonderful job with the double exposure

Besides that, today has been a heavy baking centered day. I made 5 dozen molasses cookies and also 4 dozen oatmeal cookies (some with chocolate chips, others plain). I am very pleased with my molasses cookies and cannot wait to share them with my friends tomorrow.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend, y'all!
