It's Tuesday. Already.

I have been up since 8am, and have been talking myself out of doing anything that involves sweating. It's so hot in Douala, that I have slowly been transforming myself into a lazy lady glued to her fan. And a cold drink. And a cold shower. I've been so lazy in fact that I skipped on my blogging duties over the weekend, and I am not going to try to excuse myself from that.

I could of course blame it on the internet going down, on me running errands for my mom or even on me being busy finishing up my current reads. I could, but I won't do that. I was and I am being lazy. That's all there is to say about it.

Now.
I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend, and that everyone took the time to thank the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for the United States. I actually feel like Memorial Day should be an International Day, because if you ask me, I think all the people who are fighting for the freedom of their countries or who have fallen by doing so, should be acknowledged, thanked and always remembered.

On another note, I have been thinking about getting a real blogging routine. Right now it's all in my head, I know what day I need to do what. Sometimes I am good and you see posts around here pretty much on a daily basis. And other times... well, you know what happens. But I want to do better, I want you to know what happens when so that you can never miss the columns you enjoy the most around here. So I have been writing down a schedule. I will make it official soon.

15.
That's how many followers I've gained through Bloglovin. I am not sure whether there are followers of this blog who keep up with the blog through other means (RSS? Twitter?). Regardless of how many of you are currently reading my blog, I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you. It means a lot to know that somewhere there are people who enjoy reading my random musings around here. Because I value what you think, if you have not done so already, I would urge each one of you to take the reader's survey so that I can bring this blog up to your expectations.

Have a great Tuesday!

    1. I know! I think having a written down schedule will help overcoming the laziness. And it helps the readers to know what to expect from you and the blog. I will get back on track, pinkie promise :D And I hope you will get there too!
