The weekend has been pretty chill around these parts of the world. My long time friend Lydia came over and we decided to go to Goodies one of the restaurants in the city. They not only have a restaurant where you can eat Lebanese as well as other stuffs, but also have a small grocery shop, a meat shop and a bakery. We craved some kebabs and ice cream and decided to spend the afternoon there. As a result, we were pretty happy campers! After all the food was processed, we went for a walk around the Bonapriso neighborhood.

WHAT WE ATE:
Their chicken kebab + ice cream for dessert.

WHAT WE DRANK:
Me: Mint Diabolo  Lydia: A Freshly pressed Pineapple Juice

MY THOUGHTS:
For having heard all good things about Goodies, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. The kebab itself didn't hold much, it was pretty dry and I think that it really didn't make justice to the meal itself. As for the ice cream, another BIG disappointment. I ordered the coffee flavor one, only to find it not tasting like coffee (or barely!). We decided with Lydia to stick to LGM's ice creams from now on.

PS: We decided that next time we would do all of the local Lebanese restaurants until we found THE one :) I plan on documenting that better next time ;)
